December 1, 2020
We are pleased to announce that, effective December 1, 2020, Lesa MacDonald has assumed the role of Counsel in the Pensions and Benefits Department of Koskie Minsky LLP. In her new role, Lesa will be taking on additional senior-level client relationship management responsibilities. She will continue her legal advisory work for clients of the Pension and Benefits Department, including in the areas of pension and benefits regulatory compliance and fiduciary obligations.
Lesa joined Koskie Minsky LLP in 2001 after working for several years as Legal Counsel at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (now part of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario) and over the past two decades has become a respected and frequently sought-out member of our practice, providing trusted legal opinions and advice to boards of trustees, pension and benefit plan administrators, unions and employee groups. We know that our clients have always been well-served by Lesa, and we are delighted that she will have the opportunity to work more closely with them in the future.
