Lesa MacDonald is a member of the Pension and Employee Benefits Group at Koskie Minsky.
Before joining Koskie Minsky, Lesa was employed as a legal counsel with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario where she provided legal advice and representation to the Superintendent of Financial Services on issues concerning the regulation of pension plans. With her experience in the areas of compliance with pension legislation and government policy making, Lesa provides clients with insight into regulatory issues related to pension plans. Lesa provides legal opinions and advice to boards of trustees, pension and benefit plan administrators and employees on all matters pertaining to pensions and benefits. She is a member of Koskie Minsky’s legal team on major litigation.
Lesa is a regular contributor to the Canadian Legal & Legislative Reporter, published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She is an active in a number of organisations, including the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute and the Pensions and Benefits Section of the Ontario Bar Association.
