Jeffrey Long manages a dynamic practice specializing in commercial and construction litigation with an unrelenting and proactive delivery of effective legal counsel to ensure client goals and objectives are met with the utmost success.
Jeffrey is head of Koskie Minsky’s Construction Law Group and is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Jeffrey represents many of Ontario’s largest builders, numerous general contractors, subcontractors, trade unions and employee benefit trust funds. He was also one of only a few lawyers selected for a special Advisory Group to provide advice for the recent Construction Lien Act review carried out for the Attorney General of Ontario.
Jeffrey also manages a dynamic general commercial litigation practice focussed on plaintiff’s claims and shareholder disputes. He has accumulated extensive experience in trial advocacy, appeals, negotiations and dispute resolution relating to shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate development and a multitude of complex commercial matters.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and practicing since 1992, Jeffrey has conducted numerous seminars, spoken on various construction topics at the CBAO and other construction industry events and is author of the current Construction Law Bar Admission Course materials.
