Workers’ Compensation

Our Labour Lawyers represent trade unions, their members and individual workers in a wide range of matters relating to workers’ compensation, including all aspects of claim management. We help our clients by reviewing claims documentation, gathering relevant evidence, preparing and filing submissions, and appearing at all levels of the Workplace Safety and Insurance adjudication system, including before the Board and Appeals Tribunal.

We provide advice relating to re-employment obligations, modified duties and other accommodation issues, and regularly advise and represent our clients in disputes concerning such matters. Our knowledge of workers’ compensation allows us to provide comprehensive assistance to our clients in a wide variety of employment- and benefits-related matters.
