Jamie Shilton

Jamie joined the Class Actions Department in 2020 after completing a clerkship at the Ontario Divisional Court.
Jamie graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019. While at Osgoode, he completed the Poverty Law Intensive Program at Parkdale Community Legal Services, where he worked in the Housing Rights Division and represented tenants at the Landlord and Tenant Board. He also worked as a caseworker at West Toronto Community Legal Services and as a student editor with the Journal of Law and Social Policy. Jamie graduated in the top 2% of Osgoode’s class of 2019, placed third in his third-year academic ranking, and won other awards for research and writing and academic achievement.
Jamie is passionate about holding governments, institutions, and corporations accountable.
