The Employment Law Group at Koskie Minsky LLP will be hosting a seminar entitled “Bill 168 Violence & Harassment in the Workplace” on October 4, 2012. The seminar will take place at 20 Toronto Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto Ontario and will address the following topics:
- requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Bill 168) relating to how employers must address violence and harassment in the workplace
- what is bullying/personal harassment, threats and violence under the Act
- what workplace violence and harassment policies, prevention and education are required
- what remedies are available to employees who are subject to violence or harassment
- practical tips on workplace violence/harassment investigations
