Murray Gold Awarded the 2021 OBA Pension Award for Excellence in Pension & Benefits Law

We are pleased to announce that Murray Gold has been awarded the 2021 OBA Pension Award for Excellence in Pension & Benefits Law. The OBA Award of Excellence in Pensions and Benefits Law recognizes exceptional contributions and achievements in Pension & Benefits Law by members of the OBA.

Murray is a leading lawyer in the pensions and employee benefits bar.  He has advised boards and sponsors of major public and private sector multi-employer plans for over 30 years.  He has been lead counsel for Koskie Minsky LLP in pension reform initiatives across Canada.  Murray has also played a leading role in various public policy initiatives, including as a member of Ontario’s Technical Advisory Group on Retirement Security and as an expert advisor to the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions.

Murray is the third member of Koskie Minsky’s Pension and Benefits Group to receive the award, following Mark Zigler in 2015 and Raymond Koskie in 2011.
