“Migrant Dreams” Documentary Awarded Hillman Prize for Journalism

On March 21, 2017, The Sidney Hillman Foundation announced that it has awarded the 7th annual Canadian Hillman Prize to the documentary “Migrant Dreams.” Min Sook Lee, the director, and co-producer uses this film to shed a light on the working conditions of workers who come to Ontario as part of Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
Koskie Minsky LLP was proud to represent 7 of the workers in a lawsuit against one employer.
The Sidney Hillman Foundation honours excellence in journalism in service of the common good. The U.S Hillman Prizes have been awarded annually since 1950 and the Canadian Hillman Prize since 2011.
