Lauren is an associate lawyer in the Labour Group. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2015, and returned to complete her articles in the Labour and Pensions Departments.
Lauren has experience representing trade unions in a broad range of labour and employment matters including matters before various administrative tribunals including the human rights tribunal and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Lauren has experience advising on a range of labour related matters including occupational health and safety and matters related to privacy and compliance.
Lauren is originally from Northern Ontario, and a proud graduate of the inaugural class of the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University.
While in law school, Lauren was a caseworker at Lakehead University Community Legal Services, and acted as a research assistant to the Dean and other professors. Lauren won several awards for academic achievement and represented the school at the Wilson Equality Law Moot.
