Adrian is a commercial litigator in the Civil Litigation practice group, where he focuses on construction lien matters and construction-related disputes.
Prior to joining Koskie Minsky in 2017, Adrian completed his articles at a national firm and then practiced for nearly seven years in the litigation department of an established mid-sized firm in Toronto. In that capacity, Adrian amassed extensive litigation experience in such areas as banking and bills of exchange, civil fraud recovery, mortgages and secured lending, and real estate and title issues. Adrian also defended banks and mortgagees in construction lien actions, and has acted for contractors, materials suppliers and other lien claimants on a variety of matters, including complex projects such as mines and large-scale industrial facilities.
Adrian spent a significant portion of his articles on secondment to the legal departments of a major Canadian bank and a multinational engineering and manufacturing conglomerate.
In addition to his undergraduate, graduate and law degrees, Adrian holds a Certificate in Transnational Law from Georgetown University Law Center and has experience in international arbitration before the ICC Court of Arbitration.
