Jesse Heath-Rawlings is an associate lawyer in Koskie Minsky’s Pension and Employee Benefits Department. He is dedicated to providing advice and representation to employees, trade unions, plan administrators, trustees and their advisors and consultants on a range of pension, benefits and employment issues. He is a member of Koskie Minsky’s Tax Group and has experience in the areas of taxation and compliance relating to pensions, employee benefit plans, and non-profit organizations.
Jesse received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law. While at law school, he worked and volunteered at a number of legal clinics dealing with income support for seniors and disabled persons, housing rights, and immigration issues. He has appeared before a variety of administrative tribunals.
Jesse has co-authored chapters relating to the tax regulation of Registered Pension Plans as well as human rights considerations in the administration of pensions and employee benefit plans for the upcoming edition of Employee Benefits in Canada, published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Jesse articled with Koskie Minsky in the Labour and Pensions Departments and joined the firm as an associate in 2015.
