Koskie Minsky LLP has been appointed by The Honourable Justice Conway as Representative Counsel to former employees of Danier Leather Inc. Please click here to view the Order and Endorsement. Justice Conway confirmed that the factors traditionally used for the appointment of representative counsel in CCAA proceedings also applied in this case. Koskie Minsky’s mandate in the Danier matter adds to a long list of appointments as representative counsel, including in the insolvency proceedings of Nortel Networks Corporation, Target Canada Corporation, U.S. Steel Canada and Hollinger Canadian Publishing Holdings Co.
