Koskie Minsky LLP is retained by the Canadian Auto Workers to represent them in the negotiation, establishment and implementation of the first Employee Life and Health Trust in Canada. The Trust will be funded, and will provide post-retirement benefits to tens of thousands of auto sector retirees and their spouses and dependants. Koskie Minsky LLP has been engaged in all aspects of the negotiation and creation of Canada’s first Employee Life and Health Trust, including discussions with government as to the tax and legislative provisions that will govern these new arrangements.
