The Minister of Families and Minister Responsible for Accessibility has invited former residents and others with lived experiences for a special event to commemorate the permanent closure of MDC. The event will take place on January 23, 2025, between 1:00pm and 2:00pm at the Manitoba Legislative Building, 450 Broadway, Room 200. They have asked those interested in attending to RSVP to minfs@manitoba.ca or 204-945-4337 by January 16, 2025. The invitation can be found here.
