Manitoba Developmental Centre Class Action – August 14, 2023

In accordance with the Settlement Agreement approved by the Court on May 25, 2023, Manitoba has agreed to pay $50,000 for the creation of audiovisual productions about the history of the Manitoba Developmental Centre and the stories of the people who have lived there. On behalf of MDC survivors, Class Counsel is seeking proposals from audiovisual producers interested in carrying out this storytelling initiative.
A Request for Proposals (“RFP“) setting out the scope of work, budget, timeline, and requirements for proposals can be found here. Any interested audiovisual producers should carefully review the RFP and submit their proposal to mdcclassaction@kmlaw.ca by November 3, 2023 with the subject line: “MDC Audiovisual Proposal 2023”.
