The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, RBS Securities Inc., The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V., and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (collectively, “RBS”) entered into a formal settlement agreement whereby RBS agreed to pay CAD$13,220,000. The settlement is a compromise of disputed claims and RBS does not admit any wrongdoing or liability. The settlement agreement must be approved by the courts for its terms to become effective.
