Demetrios Yiokaris, a Partner in the Litigation Department, successfully defended a real estate lawyer in a fraud and conspiracy matter. The Ontario Court of Appeal recently dismissed an appeal of a June 2021 decision that found a real estate transaction, which concluded unfavourably for the appellant, was not due to fraud or conspiracy on the part of her creditors and their legal counsel.
