The Volkswagen/Audi Timing Chain Settlement has been approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The Settlement will need to be approved by the Superior Court of Quebec for it to become operative.
The Superior Court of Justice has suspended all regular operations, effective Tuesday March 17, 2020, until further notice. As a result, all non-urgent matters scheduled to be heard after March 17, 2020 have been adjourned. We anticipate that the Ontario Settlement Approval Hearing scheduled for March 23, 2020 will not go ahead on that date. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information.
