Rideau Regional Centre

This case was brought on behalf of residents residing at the Rideau Regional Centre between 1951 and 2009 and all parents, spouses, children and siblings of Resident Class members. This case excluded any persons who validly opted out.

A Settlement Agreement was approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the claims period in the Settlement ended in 2014.

Compensation to eligible Class Members for all approved claims (as determined by the Administrator) has been delivered.

The claims process, Settlement and this proceeding have all concluded.
