This class proceeding concerns allegations of abuse at the W. Ross MacDonald School for the Blind (“Ross MacDonald”). Ross MacDonald (previously the Ontario School for the Blind) is a provincial school for elementary and secondary school students who are visually impaired. It has been in operation since 1872 and, historically, most students lived in residence.
