The Class Actions Department
Our class action litigation specialists have extensive experience handling complex class actions in a wide variety of areas – including residential schools, crown liability, environmental claims, securities misrepresentation, employment law, product liability, and consumer protection. We have been recognized by Lexpert as one of the most frequently recommended class action groups in the country. Many of our class actions have been landmark cases that were the first of their kind in Canada – successful not only in changing existing laws, but also in providing a voice and substantial financial recovery for our clients. Our Class Action litigators act in all levels of Court, including frequent appearances at the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.

Position
We are currently recruiting for an Associate Lawyer to join our Class Actions Department.  The ideal candidate will:

• Have 4-6 years of complex litigation experience at a law firm, preferably including class actions experience;
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Be a passionate advocate who thrives on doing meaningful, hands-on legal work; and
• Work well in a highly collaborative and professional team setting.
